Whether you like it or not, the SAT may well be 4 of the most important hours you will spend when you stop to consider how an important a role test scores will play in determining where you will go to college.

Our site is packed with lots of helpful information to help you best maximize your SAT score. We have book and study aid reviews, test prep tips and advice and hundreds of practice SAT questions with (hopefully) easy-to-understand answer explanations.  We even included our personal thoughts on the value of a SAT prep course as opposed to self study.

We also think it is only fair to state on our homepage that all the free and paid help in the world will not help you unless you help yourself. The best thing you can do is practice, practice and practice some more. You will see this repeated throughout our website.

The New SAT Test

It's official: the SAT has changed, effective March 2005. The test is now 3 and 3/4 hours long. It includes a 25-minute timed essay and 170 questions testing your verbal, critical reasoning, and math skills. For more information on what to expect, click here.
